Yoga & Yoga Nidra
I discovered Yoga in 1995 when I bought my first yoga book and started practising at home. Life then took me in different directions over the years but I came back to Yoga in 2015 with a greater understanding and appreciation. Since then I have been practising yoga regularly and have explored a range of disciplines and yoga teachers.
One day, I felt inspired to undertake a yoga teacher training so that I can share the benefits of yoga with others. A big thank you to Maria Grimes for her tremendous encouragement and support in this pursuit. I completed my 350hr Yoga Teacher Training in Western Australia with Shantarasa Yoga, focusing on traditional Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation.
I feel forever grateful for this enriching experience. Having a full time and a very demanding job in the business world, yoga has brought a very special gift in my life – a spiritual shift in my life outlook that orients to our true essence, to a place of inner equanimity.
