Frequently asked questions

Beginner and new to yoga, where do I start?

As a beginner or new to yoga, we recommend trying Restorative or Hatha first then taking it from there. Always try a few different styles before deciding if yoga is for you. You can also start with our Beginners Yoga Course, dates are advertised under courses. Restorative is all ground based asanas (poses) held for 5-8mins each. Hatha includes standing, balancing and ground based asanas (poses). Your teacher will always show you alternative options as not all bodies are made the same :)

What do I bring?

All equipment is provided by the studio free of charge (excluding eye pillows due to Covid), if you prefer your own yoga mat or eye pillow please bring it along with you. Water and cups are available but you can bring your own water bottle if like. We also have a selection of products available to purchase at the studio.

How do I pay for class?

Payments can be made online with credit/debit cards or via cash & credit/debit card on arrival, please arrive 10mins earlier if you are making payment before class. All payments are subject to the terms and conditions found on the online booking system. With Covid restrictions please book online to secure your place as numbers are limited, if you are unable to do this please call or message at least an hour before, so we can help.

What do I wear?

Please wear something comfortable and unrestricted. No shoes needed for class, please leave them by the door. If you are cold you can wear socks with grip (be careful not to slip on the wooden floors)
