BEACH YOGA
Donation based pay as you feel or can afford, making yoga accessible to all.
Beach yoga differs from studio yoga as it allows you a sensory experience too due to the outdoor setting. It is practiced in the natural elements like sun, wind, and fresh salty air, which enhances relaxation and mindfulness through sounds of waves and birds, and brings a sense of openness and freedom.
We join asanas (poses) together, to make a sequence, each movement is synchronized your breath (Prana) allowing us to connect deeper with nature.
The breath is given primacy, acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next.
Classes are held outside near Shoalwater Beach activity node on the grass, using your mat or beach towel.
Classes run Spring, Summer & Autumn, weather permitting.
Then in Winter Yoga classes are held inside at the studio in Shoalwater by the fire.
Saturday - 8am to 9am
Book online or card/cash on day.
Please arrive 10-15mis early to set up & pay, look for the bike and cart!
